Information you submit will be transmitted to and shared with Shopify, as well as third parties that may be located in countries other than where you reside. To help protect, grow, and improve our business, we use certain Shopify enhanced features that incorporate data from your interactions with our Store, along with other merchants and with Shopify. Part 2 — Our App (LAAS Bike Lock App)
We collect only the information necessary to provide, operate, and improve the LAAS app experience.
Using LAAS Without an Account
You can use the LAAS app without signing in with Apple or Google. LAAS creates an anonymous profile identified by an internal User ID, which allows us to associate your locks, lock groups, and settings with your app installation. This anonymous profile is not associated with your name or email address.
Signing In
Signing in with Apple or Google is optional. If you choose to sign in, LAAS may receive:
- Your name or username (if provided by you or shared by Apple or Google)
- Your email address (if provided by Apple or Google)
Signing in links your anonymous profile to your account, allowing your locks and settings to be synchronized across devices. LAAS never receives or stores your Apple or Google password.
Product Information
To operate your LAAS products, we store:
- Lock serial numbers
- Lock names that you choose
- Lock group names that you create
- Product configuration and settings
Device and Diagnostic Information
To improve reliability and security, we may collect device identifiers, app version, operating system version, crash reports, and other diagnostic information.
Apple Find My
The LAAS app does not collect, store, or track your location. If you choose to use Apple's Find My network, location services are provided entirely through Apple's Find My service. LAAS does not receive, store, process, or have access to your location or location history through Apple's Find My network.
How We Use App Information
We use App information only to: operate the LAAS app; pair and manage your LAAS products; synchronize your data across devices; authenticate users who choose to sign in; improve reliability and performance; diagnose technical issues; and provide customer support.
We do not sell your personal information.
Service Providers
We may use trusted third-party providers for services such as Apple and Google authentication, cloud infrastructure, and crash reporting and diagnostics. These providers process information only as necessary to provide the LAAS service.
Deleting Your App Account
If you sign in with Apple or Google, LAAS stores your name (if provided), email address, and an internal user identifier to provide the LAAS service. If you would like to delete your LAAS account and associated personal data, please send a request from the email address associated with your account to privacy@laas.me. We will verify your request and delete your LAAS account and associated personal data. Deleting your LAAS account does not delete your Apple or Google account.
Part 3 — Rights, Security, and Other Terms (applies to Store and App)
Third Party Websites and Links
The Services may provide links to websites or platforms operated by third parties. We are not responsible for the privacy or security practices of sites not affiliated with or controlled by us.

If you are the parent or guardian of a child who has provided us with their personal information, you may contact us to request that it be deleted.
Security and Retention of Your Information
No security measures are perfect or impenetrable, and we cannot guarantee "perfect security." We recommend that you do not use unsecure channels to communicate sensitive or confidential information to us. We use appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your information against unauthorized access, loss, or misuse. How long we retain your personal information depends on factors such as whether we need it to maintain your account, provide the Services, comply with legal obligations, or resolve disputes.
